When you place an order on our website, your full name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card number, and credit card expiration date will be required. The information is used to complete the transaction and help us provide better support and services to you.


How do the 3rd party credit card processors protect customer's information ?

BitRecover software uses secure server hosted by MyCommerce, PayPal and other 3rd party credit card processors that encrypt all the customer's personal information before it is sent to us, including name, address, credit card number, credit card expiration date, etc. Encryption works to prevent any malicious use of your personal information. Your credit card information is only used for online transition.

MyCommerce is an advanced secure online payment service for software registration that has been in operation since 1987. BitRecover Software uses MyCommerce to provide you with very secure and fast online purchase.

Use of Google API Scopes

BitRecover make use of following scopes in order to migrate end users data from source to destination

API Name Scope Description
Google Drive API https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive
  • This scope allows the application to see, edit, create and delete of Google Drive files

  • The application is accessing users Google Drive in case of storing attachment and temp data about the migration process
Google Directory API https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.user
  • In the case of migrating by admin users, it requires to fetch the end-users email address

  • The application users this scope to get the users email addresses
Google Contact API https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts
  • This scope will access end-users contacts. Its need to be accessed as source contact items need to migrate to destination
Gmail API Compose and Read Scope
  • Login using OAUTH2
  • Creating Mail folder labels if doesn’t exist. So we need read/write scope as well
  • Composing mbox messages in gmail in their respective Mail Folders

How the application accesses Google user data?

  • Getting gmail access token first
  • Using this parameter in place of client gmail password and granting access
  • Reading folder existence
  • Creating folder as per source mailbox if not exist
  • Migrating user folder data in their respective gmail folder
  • Composing gmail messages from their respective mbox files and saving in respective gmail folders
  • Last checking count of migrated folders in gmail

Note: There is no sent mail on receiver end which is mailed by our product
